Ed's Legacy
We hope this letter finds you well and in good health. We are writing to you with a blend of gratitude, respect, and a touch of nostalgia as we navigate a transition that has been both bittersweet and heartwarming. It is our privilege to introduce you to an individual who has not only been a close friend and colleague to our beloved Ed, but who has also stepped up in an extraordinary manner during a challenging time for our family.
Phil Walker joined RE/MAX Equity Group in 2010 and became office neighbors with Ed. This professional proximity evolved into a friendship and mentorship that went beyond the confines of real estate. Ed saw in Phil an unwavering commitment to excellence, professionalism, and a passion for being in service to customers. Thus began a journey of mutual learning and growth that enriched both their lives.
Ed took Phil under his wing, becoming not only a colleague but Phil’s mentor. Their relationship was built on a foundation of shared values, camaraderie, and the genuine desire to see each other succeed. It was inspiring to witness how two professionals from different walks of life could come together, collaborate, and build a friendship that became a testament to the power of connections in the real estate industry.
Over the years, this connection naturally extended to encompass our families. Phil's presence at our gatherings, celebrations, and ordinary moments has woven him into the fabric of our lives. His genuine concern for our well-being was evident, and his willingness to offer assistance, guidance, and friendship made him a cherished family friend.
However, the true measure of a friend is illuminated in times of adversity. In the past year, our lives were profoundly affected by Ed's diagnosis of pancreatic cancer in August 2022. During this challenging period, Phil's support was nothing short of remarkable. He stepped forward not only as a professional ally but also as a pillar of strength for our family. Phil's dedication to assisting us with practical matters and his unwavering emotional support made an indelible impact on our lives during this time of need.
It is with great sorrow that we share with you that Ed Petrossian passed away on August 20th, 2023. After a courageous year-long fight with pancreatic cancer, Ed serenely and gracefully departed in his sleep. Ed's final resting place, the Finley-Sunset Hills Mortuary, overlooking the Fountain of Remembrance, is a testament to a life well-lived – one filled with passion, purpose, and an enduring legacy that will inspire generations to come.
Ed’s legacy, dedication, and the values he held dear continue to live on through individuals like Phil. We want you to know that we have placed our wholehearted trust in Phil's abilities, integrity, and commitment to serving you.
We are confident that Phil will not only honor Ed's legacy but will also continue to provide you with the same level of dedication, professionalism, and care that you have come to expect. We invite you to put your trust in Phil, just as we have, as you navigate your real estate needs.
We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Phil as he takes on this new chapter. His journey forward is not only a continuation of his professional growth but also a continuation of Ed's legacy of serving clients with the utmost dedication and excellence.
In closing, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for the trust and camaraderie you have extended to Ed throughout the years. We are honored to have served you and are confident that Phil will be an excellent resource for all your real estate needs.
Thank you for your continued support and friendship. Please join us in welcoming Phil Walker to the forefront and congratulating him as he carries forward Ed's legacy with the same unwavering commitment.
With sincere gratitude,
Alina, Gregory, and Armon Petrossian
